Welcome to the PriVox Private Voice Exchange. PriVox is a provider of privacy respecting, free, open source voice based solutions. You could say we believe in freedom of speech. We provide free speech to text (STT) and text to speech (TTS) services suitable for use in most consumer grade applications. We provide anonymous, zero log file, zero data retention, zero footprint voice solutions, both locally and in the cloud.

Cloud, Edge local, embedded

Our network of cloud based APIs anonymize user requests across a distributed array of producer farms and toss the data after use. The PriVox Edge provides local and/or cloud based STT and TTS to interconnected resource constrained (IoT) devices. Local STT and TTS packages may be run on your laptop, desktop or dedicated server while the embedded packages provide voice support for ARM devices like the Raspberry Pi and Rockchip SoC. Typical applications include voice enabled chat bots, voice assistants, smart speakers, home automation, and robot control.

Leading Edge STT and TTS

Recent advances in speech technology have made their use in most applications ubiquitous. Unfortunately the inclination to harvest user data has become all too prevalent in our industry. PriVox is an anonymous organization dedicatd to user privacy. We support the speech based open source community by contributing computing power, training data, network aggregation and open source software. If you share our vision, of a free privacy respecting global network for voice recognition and speech synthesis, consider contributing either with a donation or sign up for a subscriber account.
